About Neil
Dr Neil Slade, BSc(Hons) PhD DIC LCH CBiol MIBiol
Dr Neil Slade studied homeopathy at the College of Homeopathy, London, and graduated with distinction. He has a PhD in infectious diseases from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of London. He is also a Chartered Biologist, and is a member of the Society of Biology. He is on the register of the Society of Homeopaths and practices according to their Code of Ethics.
Neil treats all areas of health, from the concerns of the very young to the very old, although emphasising that prevention is better than cure. However, he has particular interests in men's health, and infertility.
Neil runs a busy homeopathy clinic based in the centre of London's Mayfair district.
As well as working in clinical practice, Neil regularly lectures in homeopathy, anatomy, physiology, and pathology at several colleges of complementary medicine. He has produced a series of DVDs based on his biomedical science lectures at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, London. In 2001 he was awarded the CNM certificate for 'Best Lecturer' in biomedical sciences. In December 2003 Neil was awarded the CNM certificate for 'Best CNM Lecturer' at the college, as voted for by the students. This was repeated in 2005 and in 2006 Neil received the CNM Teaching Award for outstanding achievement.
Currently Neil is a Senior Lecture in homeopathy, human sciences and research methods at the Centre for Homeopathic Education in London and is a Visiting Lecturer at the British College of Nutrition and Health. Neil also regularly travels to New York City, USA to deliver lectures on homeopathic medicine. Neil's many articles can be found in a variety of magazines and health journals. He is the resident homeopathy contributor in Positive Health magazine, writing a regular case study column. Neil also wrote his own 'Doc Spot' for the Mirror's M magazine, and can often be found on television and radio discussing aspects of homeopathic and naturopathic medicine.
